About Me
- January C.
- Leaving the British winter far behind, I'm blogging about my travels in the Cuban sunshine. The photos are a combined effort between my travel chum CDD and me. The words are all mine.

Ah, Santiago!
Twelve hours on an overnight express bus, and we arrived in Santiago de Cuba. I was excited to explore this city - the guide books say you either love it or can't wait to get on the next bus back to Havana.... It's right down on Cuba's southern coast, feels much more Caribbean than other parts of Cuba, and is famous for being the cradle of the revolution (it's where Fidel and co. congregated in 1958) and for its music. You can't walk very far without stumbling upon musicians and dancers on the streets of Santiago.
